Bribri: Reclaiming A Hidden Culture

This documentary aims to educate and inform the watcher about the Bribri culture being at risk of extinction, and more importantly, how one indigenous community called Yorkin is trying to reclaim its heritage. This project was started between myself and Ignacio Retana, a Costa Rican environmentalist lawyer, who I befriended during a photography expedition. This was my first film project, where I led the full production and direction of everything you see on screen.
